The first thing that came to mind when I saw the artwork 'Uncertain Journey' was blood. I know, no the most cheering or happy thing to come to mind.

I immediately made the connection with the next three movies: The Shining, Psycho and Saw.

The famous elevator scene of 'The Shining' where blood was pouring out as soon as the doors open

The famous scene and scream from the slasher 'Psycho' where someone with a knife walks up to a lady in the shower. The next thing you see is blood flowing down the gutter.

And Saw, cause Saw is just constant blood everywhere. Just that.

The other connection I made was with the nerve system. For me it looked like it has the same build-up and structure.

And then thought of the brain because the nerve system is all connected to the brain.

Eventually I thought about the movie 'Inside Out'. Espacially the scene with all the memories.

After making all these connections I interpret the artwork as a memorie bank. Where every connection or knot is a memories and that they're all connected to each other.
