For the third variation I boiled 3 pieces of cotton wiht 3 different kinds of flowers.

You can barely see it, but these are 3 DIFFERENT pieces of cotton.

The one on the left was boiled with Marigold (yellow flowers)
You can see a little hint of yellow at the bottom

The one in the middle is boiled with 3 red roses. I repeat, 3 red roses.
You would expect a much deeper red if you boiled it with 3 red roses, but the only color that's there is a little, very little hint of pink.

And the one on the right is boiled with.... purple and pink flowers.
I boiled it wiht purple and pink flowers, and it turns out green....



The reason I wanted to boil it wiht flowers was nog only the color extraction, but also the hope for a scent. And none of the pieces smelt like their flowers.
